Description

LISA Academy North 5th Annual Science Fair to be held January 25, 2013 in the LISA Academy North GYM, 5410 Landers Road, Sherwood, AR. This year’s Science Fair will be different than years past! There will be a total of 85 middle school students, grades 6-8th, participating and wait to be judged on their Science Projects. There will be fifteen judges present to test the student’s knowledge about their projects. There will be an awards ceremony after the judging period and after the scores have been calculated.

The students have been working on their projects since the beginning of the school year. There are four major components of the Science Fair project, the experiment, the research paper, the display board and the oral presentation. First, students must select and submit an experiment topic for their teacher for approval. After teacher approval, students start on the other three components. The final result to be judged is the students display board and their knowledge of their science experiment.

The high school students will be participating in our 1st STEM Festival later on this year.
